American Airlines to Offer New Direct Flights from New York to Myrtle Beach This Summer
New York travelers will soon have more options for reaching South Carolina’s coastal destinations. Beginning in the summer of 2025, American Airlines will introduce new weekend direct flights from New York’s LaGuardia Airport to Myrtle Beach and Charleston.
The flights will be operated on an Embraer E175 aircraft, offering a direct connection for those seeking a quick getaway to the Lowcountry and Grand Strand. Currently, American Airlines does not offer direct flights from Myrtle Beach International Airport to LaGuardia during the winter months. Instead, passengers must connect through the airline’s hub at Charlotte Douglas International Airport in North Carolina.
With these new routes, travelers from New York will have a more convenient way to enjoy South Carolina’s beaches, golf courses, and vacation attractions without the need for a layover.
